Manchester United look to reach Top 4 with victory over Toffees.

Manchester United will hold they’re first game after the international break at Old Trafford where they will contest Everton on Monday night with kick off at 8pm.

Speaking on Friday, Ruben Amorim provided an update on 4 players ahead the clash on Monday night.

First of which is Benjamin Sesko with the Slovenian set to be sidelined for at least the next 3 weeks after he sustained a knee injury in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.

Another player set to miss out is Englishman Harry Maguire, with the central defender suffering a hamstring injury.

Kobbie Mainoo didn’t feature against Tottenham but could feature against David Moyes’ team. With Matheus Cunha seemingly after sustaining a head injury in training yesterday so there is also question marks over the Brazilian.

In positive news, Lisandro Martinez is on the verge of returning to the starting team after featuring in Argentina training.

Lisandro Martinez is very close to returning to playing for the first time since February.

Ruben Amorim said “he is becoming close to be ready to play.

“Of course we need to be careful as he is going to struggle in the first [few] minutes. He is clearly in the better position compared to two weeks ago.”

United currently in 10th position, victory for the Red Devils will see them move into 4th position after Liverpool suffered another defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest on Saturday 3 goals to nil.

Everton are currently in 13th position level on points with Newcastle after they beat Manchester City 2-1 on Saturday evening.
